Verifone

Alongside our extensive integration with Adyen, EVA offers an easy integration with Verifone as payment service provider.

This integration requires you first of all to setup an account with Verifone, in order for EVA to be able to connect.

Settings required​

Once you've got your account configured on Verifone, please check your account details in order to provide EVA with the right values in the following settings:

  • Verifone:Pin:Url
  • Verifone:Pin:UserID
    • Your UserID from the Verifone cloud environment to be used to perform the transaction with
    • It should look like a UUID and be set on root level
  • Verifone:Pin:ApiKey
    • Your APIKey which is generated via Verifone's Cloud API keys section
    • Must be set on root level
  • Verifone:Pin:OrganizationID
    • Your OrganizationID to perform the transaction under
    • It should look like a UUID and can be found in Verifone's cloud environment
    • Can be set on either root or OU level, depending on how you setup your organization management structure in Verifone

Payment method configuration​

A payment method of type PIN must be created for use with Verifone.

Creation of payment terminal​

Create a payment terminal for your Verifone device.

Now add the device to your station with the handler set to Verifone.

Information about refunding and receipts​

Rececipts​

When everything's all set and done, and your first transactions are performed, you can expect the following receipts:

  • Merchant receipt: this will be printed automatically
    • That is, if your thermal printer is up and running - if there's no printer, this receipt is attached to the order instead
  • Customer receipt: is attached to the order

Refunds​

PIN refunds are possible in two ways:

  • With the customer presenting their PIN card
    • This is only possible if the PIN terminal is up and running - it will not be able to refund on Local mode for now
  • PIN refund without the PIN card
    • The PIN refund can be activated without the PIN card itself being tapped
    • The terminal will activate and progress through the refund flow as if the PIN card is tapped however, meaning that no other customer can use the terminal during that time
  • Refund via auto-refund
    • Only if the terminal is online
